In this 1979 made-for TV movie, Lane plays Anson Keller, the
favorite student of a college professor, (Peter Donat as Wayne
Harrington), who commits suicide. While his widow, (Angie
Dickinson) seeks the answers to why her husband killed himself,
she wonders how Anson fits into the puzzle after his face and name
reappears several times. Allan Crane (Gordon Pinsent), who worked
with her husband, helps her in her quest and with starting a new life
after the tragedy.
