Video Clips - Funland
Funland is a 1987 Film about an amusement park that is taken over by a mob family after they bump off the
kind-hearted owner, Angus Perry (William Windom, not seen in these clips). They waste no time in making
drastic changes to the way things are ran at the park, thus creating despair for the Park's Manager, Mike
Spencer (Bruce Mahler) and Neil Stickney (David Lander of "Laverne & Shirley"). Neil used to be the park's
accountant. After suffering from a nervous breakdown, Angus kept him on as the Park's clown
representative of "Bruce Burger" for the fictional food chain "Pizza Burger." Neil identifies with his
character a little too well and is confused about who is really who, and often has conversations with his
puppet, Peter Pepperoni. After Angus' death, the mobsters want the 'National' representative of "Bruce
Burger" to open the new season for the Park. Chad Peller (Lane Davies) is a classically trained
Shakespearean actor who finds playing a clown demeaning but must do it for the money. After his is fired
from his job, Neil decides to sabotage the opening of the theme park and to eliminate the other 'Bruce
Burger'.
