Comings and Goings
Having Switched to watching "Santa Barbara,"
"General Hospital" is boring, boring, boring. As
usual, they ran the Grant Putnam storyline into
the ground and the Jimmy Lee/Beatrice story was
sickening. SB is no great shakes, but it's a good
change of pace. I'm sure I'm one of many who feel
this way.

After reading your article on "Santa Barbara"
(9/11/84) and seeing all those scintillating ads for
the show on television, my interest and blood
pressure are up. I think it's very exciting to watch
a show from the very beginning; to see it change
and grow. A Martinez (Cruz Castillo) has been a
favorite of mine for many years and I've been
longing to him as a romantic lead. I loved Marcy
Walker as Liza on "All My Children," and am sure
she'll be just as good on SB. "Santa Barbara" is a
show I definitely would like to watch. However,
nothing short of a cataclysm will get me to switch
off "Guiding Light."
