Time:C.C.'s birthday party continues, and he's in for a few more surprises.

Characters: Mason, C.C., Ted, Rosa, Eden, and Kelly

Premise: C.C. and Santana have returned and C.C. sees Mason standing with the rolled up deed in his hand. He approaches Mason

Mason: (Holding it out to his father.) This is my gift to you, dad. Happy birthday!

C.C.: What is it, some sort of propagation?

Mason: I hope it's something you like very much.

C.C.: This has certainly been quite a day. (Unrolls the deed and silently reads it. When he's finished he looks back up at Mason, astonished). You did it!

Mason: Sure did.

C.C.: I can't believe it. It's truly a fabulous gift.

Ted: (He walks up to C.C. and Mason.) If I knew you were going to like rolled up pieces of paper so much I could have saved a lot of money on my gift.

C.C.: It's a lot better than that, Ted. This is a deed for 50 acres of beachfront property that the Capwells have been coveting for years. (To Mason) And you got it for me (hugs Mason). You promised it and you delivered it. Son, I think I've been underestimating you.

Mason: I wanted to get you something that you would really like.

C.C.: You managed it when nobody else could.

Ted: (He reaches over to pat Mason on the back.) Congratulations!

C.C.: Well, this really calls for Champaign.

Ted: (Rubbing his hands together.) Yeah!

C.C.: Not you, Ted. (To Mason.) Come, join me.
