Every Houseboat Needs a Decorator
Video Clip: Every Houseboat Needs a Decorator
Setting: Cruz's houseboat.

Characters: Mason, Cruz, and Santana

Premise: Cruz and Santana are discussing decorating options for his new houseboat when
someone comes to his door.

Cruz:
(Opens the door and is surprised) Mason!

Mason: Cruz! I'm looking for Santana. I heard she was-well, well.

Santana: Hi there!

Mason: What brings you here?

Santana: What else? I'm working.

Mason: Oh, of course. Every houseboat needs a decorator. I should have known. (Enters the
houseboat
) We do kind of have an emergency back at the hotel.

Cruz: Somebody's short-sheeting the beds again?

Santana: (Giggles)

Mason: We have that convention coming in, and I have to have the ballroom finished by then.

Santana: Mason, you worry too much. The wall coverings are being installed this evening.

Mason: Yeah, I know, but I would really like it if you could be there to supervise. Unless, there's
some life or death urgency about decorating the houseboat?

Santana: I'll go with you now.

Cruz: So, we have come to an understanding, Santana, about the driving force behind my ascetic
tastes?

Santana: I'll see you later.

Cruz: Tomorrow, at the stables?

Santana: Right. I'll see you then.

Mason: (Clears throat as he picks up the rest of Santana's decorating samples)

Santana: (To Mason) Already.

Mason: Good. I appreciate you going with me now.

Santana: No problem.

Mason: (As Santana and Mason are exiting through the door). Cruz, did you choose the houseboat
to avoid paying property tax?

Cruz: (Chuckles). And I thought we were going to make it through this without any cheap shots.
